The UAE always strives to exceed standards in every potential sector, and most prominently in the aerospace sector. The Hope Probe is the first probe that could provide a complete picture of the Martian atmosphere and its layers in 2021. This invention marks a transcendental moment with which the UAE’s emerging Aerospace industry proves its global competence. In order to mark this proud accomplishment, a client requested a special gift that reflects the prestigious state in which this accomplishment portrays.

In order to echo the magnitude of this accomplishment, rich materials, such as walnut wood, brass and a genuine pearl, were selected to create a product that visually narrates the strong impact that the Hope probe gives in the UAE. It pays homage to the UAE’s rich history, as it was dependent on pearl diving as a source of its economic growth, and celebrates the great milestones the young country managed to achieve. The Pearl serves as a gentle reminder that the UAE began from a simple and modest foundation, but in just a brief amount of time it was able to attain excellence.
