Khous Sofa

The sofa is designed with a modern aesthetic in mind. It depicts a wide strip of camel leather that is woven into a specific pattern to mimic the pattern found in Khous weaving (a traditional type of weaving that was commonly used in the past using dried palm fronds to create baskets and small house-hold items). The strip is attached to the sofa to give an illusion of it being woven into the structure of the sofa itself (going in and out again at certain points). With this design approach, we give importance to the back of the sofa as well highlighting it as a key design element.
