Mudeem Pleats Dates Box
The box is inspired by the Mudeem Pleats box which takes its inspiration from the shape and aesthetic of the traditional Mandoos boxes that were used in the past. It is made out of camel leather with a removable interior which allows it to be reused for other purposes.
In this gift, individually wrapped Khlas dates are placed in a clear acrylic box that is engraved with a palm tree pattern on its top surface. The Dates Box compliments the long standing ritual of offering dates to guests - a great symbol of Emirati hospitality. The acrylic box could also be used on its own as a good stand-alone gift box.
